Councillor Nicholson introduced the meeting and noted that the purpose was to review the results of the questionnaire analysis produced by Community Lincs and to prepare for the community event to feedback these results in October.
Councillor Nicholson will publish the results on the Neighbourhood Plan website. The data for results is on Google Drive.
Janet Clark said she would produce posters to present the information back at the event. There will also be 3 bound copies of the results at the event produced by Janet. Janet will bring demographic information to the event and provide a means of monitoring the number of visitors and capturing comments. She will also take photos during the event.
The Steering Committee will promote the feedback event. Councillor Nicholson will look into the cost of placards to promote the event.
Councillor Nicholson will liaise with Dr Sultan and Ingham School with respect to the results in order to obtain their views.
The event will be on 9th October 2019 from 6.30pm to 8.30pm at the Village Hall. Steering Committee members will need to arrive at 6 to help with set up. MN, NB, MW, CW and GS confirmed they should be available.
Maggie Warren will make arrangements for refreshments and food at the event and bill the Parish Council for reimbursement.
Maggie Warren will design promotional posters for the event and the Clerk can arrange for printing with a view to distributing to households in the week prior to the event. A promotion will also be put in Village Venture and Facebook. Leaflets will be left in the shop, pub and surgery. The School could be asked to promote through Parentmail.
Information about the Call Connect service and Springline should be available at the event to address concerns raised about the bus service in the village.
The Clerk will contact Openplan to find a possible date for the community walkabout. Janet will send the committee a copy of the walkabout event details for Sturton.
The Committee will produce a timeline for production of the plan. Members should return comments to the Clerk who will collate and send to Janet. Comments should be provided asap.
Conversation revealed the following:
- Scotter included a policy about parking in their plan
- It may be worth considering allocation of sites for housing. This can be discussed with Openplan. Funding is available.
- Funding is now available for the review of Neighbourhood Plans
